We design gardens for Bahrain's climate — drawn whole, planted to belong, made for the people who'll live in them. Every project begins with the site as we find it and the way you want to live outdoors; structure and planting are drawn together from the first sketch, in collaboration with our design division, Al Ala Gallery. Start with us, and we'll bring them in where the work calls for it.

We grow our own collection of rare and unique drought-tolerant plants right here at the farm. These species are specially chosen to thrive in Bahrain’s climate, reducing water consumption and supporting environmental conservation efforts.

Once the design is complete, our skilled Paperbark Farms team brings it to life with precision and care — from soil preparation to final installation. The result is a stunning, eco-conscious landscape tailored to your style and needs.
One complete design, delivered whole: coloured concept hand-renderings, a 2D layout and planting plan, a material and plant palette drawn for Bahrain's climate, and a final bill of quantities ready for build. Three weeks from first conversation to handover. Send us the site — a few photos, any plans you have — and we'll tell you within seventy-two hours whether Courtyard is the right fit.
Everything in Courtyard, drawn at the scale a family actually lives — the full process from first brainstorming through concept renderings, layout, material and plant curation, and technical and shop drawings where the build requires them. Structure and planting designed together: pools, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, the rooms of the garden. Site supervision available through construction, so what's built is what was drawn.
Grounds-scale work across every zone — front, rear, pool, drive — designed over a longer arc so the property reads as one composition rather than separate gardens. The complete design process, full technical documentation, and supervision through the build. These projects begin with a conversation rather than a brief.
Design is where we start, not where we stop. Our team offers full construction and planting of the approved design — civil and hardscape works, soil preparation, irrigation, and a dedicated planting team — and ongoing maintenance visits, monthly or fortnightly, so the garden matures the way it was drawn.
Every garden is designed for the people who'll live in it. We take on no more than five projects a season — the pace lets the work be good. Courtyard bookings for October and November planting close at the end of August.
