ABOUT OUR U-PICK

Our U-PICK story

Inspired by a love for flowers and the joy they bring, our U-Pick experience was created to invite the community into the heart of Paperbark Farms. We wanted to offer more than just beautiful blooms — we wanted to create a place where people can slow down, wander through rows of colour, and reconnect with the simple pleasures of being outdoors.

It’s about sharing the beauty of nature, fostering moments of togetherness, and letting each visitor hand-pick their own bouquet of happiness. Whether you come alone for a peaceful escape or with loved ones for a day of laughter, our fields are a place to celebrate life’s small wonders and take home a piece of that beauty.

Our U-pick sessions are small, intimate experiences and strictly appointment-only. Each visit is scheduled to ensure you have time and space to enjoy the blooms. Subscribe to receive notification when bookings open!

Our U-PICK info

What is a U-Pick?

A U-Pick at Paperbark Farms is your chance to wander through rows of vibrant, seasonal blooms and create your own bouquet straight from the field. It’s a hands-on, sensory experience where you can slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and take home flowers you’ve picked yourself.

Morning U-Pick

Start your day surrounded by the gentle light and fresh scent of the morning garden. From 9:00 am to 11:00 am, you’ll have the flower field to explore while it’s at its calmest, with soft breezes and the first blooms opening to the sun.

Golden Hour U-Pick

Join us in the late afternoon from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, when the golden light sets the flowers aglow. This is the perfect session for stunning photographs and soaking in the serene beauty of the farm as the day winds down

What to Wear

We recommend comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking between rows, a sun hat, and light, breathable clothing. Sunscreen is a must during warmer months, and a water bottle will help you stay refreshed

When to Arrive

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your session to check in, hear our quick picking tips, and get set up with your tools and bucket.

Tools & Flowers

We provide all the tools you’ll need, including clippers, buckets, and a mason jar to take your flowers home in.

Booking is Essential

Our U-Pick sessions are kept small so everyone can enjoy a relaxed, personal experience in the flower field. Spots fill quickly, and pre-booking is required—secure your place and be part of the bloom!

U-PICK CALENDAR RELEASE DATES

Our fields are waking up!  Each day brings us closer to rows bursting with colour for our U-Pick season. The countdown is on — the blooms are growing, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
